I just got this cello (the only one they had at our local store) 4 months ago on a rent to own basis while I take lessons. At first I didn't like the sound terribly well, though as a beginner that's bound to happen. The strings wore out very quickly and two were about to break so I just recently restrung the instrument. It is sounding better and better as I improve my skills and I'm beginning to get attached to my first cello outfit! There are definitely some notes that sound infinitely better resonating with the cello than others, though that may be the case with all instruments. (?)
The instrument itself is lovely, and though I don't have a lot of experience, I would recommend the cremona as a great starter cello. Overall I've had a very good experience with it!
