Both the solid spruce top and solid maple back and sides are exquisitely hand-carved with surfaces graduated to precise measurements. The neck is hand-carved to give the instrument a comfortable feel and the scroll a graceful shape. Quality fittings complement the craftsmanship: Natural Color Rosewood Pegs, Tailpiece and Rosewood (Painted in Black) Fingerboard , and Rosewood Tailpiece With 4 Fine Nickel Plated Tuners. Includes Brazilwood Bow With Rosewood Frog & Unbleached Genuine Mongolian horsehair, a Well Padded Lightweight Carrying Case and a Featherweight Hardshell Case With Removable & Adjustable Backpack Straps (Convenience for Carry to School or Orchestra).
