Shop For I Can Read Music: For Cello, Volume I

Over All Rating Reviews :
I am 22 and currently self teaching the cello.

I have taken a few cello lessons in the past but I can't afford lessons right now.

I know basic bowing and posture, but I never got to learn to read my notes.
Now that I have a new cello I can finally begin again at home. If you are without a teacher or are unable to take lessons frequently this is a great way to build your basic music reading skills.
You will learn how to play any written note on the base cleff as well as great rhythms.
The book teaches each note one at a time, and mixes them in different patterns/melodies progressively so that you naturally develop a clear association between the notes and their finger positions. Before you know it you will see notes and automatically know what finger position and string you need. It's a cool feeling!

This is a great way to build a good foundation and I am very happy with my progress!
