Perfect Pitch Ear Training For Musicians

!: Perfect Pitch Ear Training For Musicians

Perfect pitch ear training for musicians and singers is a wonderful training to have. This type of training will further your career in the music business. Ear training plays an important part in a musician or a singer life. You must be able to match the music you hear in your head and play it on your instrument or sing it.This type of training will make you hear and identify scales, chords, intervals and other basic parts of music. Knowing how to perform these different elements of music takes a lot of time and practice. The rewards will be sweet later.

Some musicians are born with perfect pitch. Absolute pitch is the ability to hear a note and name it without any outside help. Most piano and string players that started playing their instruments at an early age has this ability. Most of us that started our musical career later in life develop relative pitch. Relative pitch is the ability to identify a note by relating it to another.

There are twelve Major and Minor scales.

1. C Major Scale----------A Minor Scales (no sharps or flats)

2. G " " --------------E " " ( 1 sharp)

3. D " "--------------B " " (2 sharps)

4. A " "--------------F# " " (3 sharps)

5. E " "--------------C# " " (4 sharps)

6. B " "----------- G# " " (5 sharps)

7. F# " "-------------D# " " (6 sharps)

8. Db " "-------------Bb " " (5 flats)

9. Ab " "--------------F " " (4 flats)

10. Eb " "------------C " " (3 flats)

11. Bb " "------------G " " (2 flats)

12. F " "--------------D " " (1 flat)

*Interval- is the distance between two notes

Using the C major scale-C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C

the interval from note C to note D would be called a minor 2nd

The interval from note C to note E would be called a major 3rd.

Perfect pitch ear training for musicians and singers requires you to know a lot of different skills. Listening to your favorite songs is a lot of help.

Practicing these skills each day will help in developing your relative and your perfect pitch ears. It may seem like a lot to learn, but take it one skill at a time. In no time you will be developing your ears for relative or absolute pitch.

Leann Rimes Twisted Angel Country Music CD Review

!: Leann Rimes Twisted Angel Country Music CD Review

The exceptionally talented Country artist Leann Rimes has released her CD entitled Twisted Angel. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Leann Rimes fans, and Country fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Twisted Angel Leann Rimes's artistic excellence is on full display as Rimes has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be her best work to date.

Unfortunately, it's not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can't force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Twisted Angel. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Twisted Angel has a nicely varied, mix of 13 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly outstanding artist. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are her own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They're all here.

Twisted Angel is a first rate CD, delivering a little something for everyone. I give it my highest recommendation. It's quite simply great listening. A must buy for the Country fan.

While the entire album is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 1 - Life Goes On, track 4 - Trouble With Goodbye, and track 12 - You Made Me Find Myself.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 9 - Review My Kisses. Outstanding!

CA Guitars Model 5S-CE Review

!: CA Guitars Model 5S-CE Review

Formerly known as the Players Series X, CA Guitars 5S-CE displays the wonders of carbon fiber guitar technology. Most noticeably, the guitar has an amazing cutaway. In addition to the sharp cutaway that allows easy access to the upper frets, there is also a cutaway on the back of the guitar that allows your palm to fit nicely along the back of the guitar's sound box. This is possible because of the strength of carbon fiber, which allows for a strong neck that does not require a heel block, another benefit of carbon fiber construction.

Thus, when reaching the upper frets, your hand fits perfectly into CA Guitars dual cutaway, allowing for easy access all the way up to the 20th fret. This high on the fretboard, you can easily achieve a "clink" tone on the treble strings that sounds very similar to the highest notes on a piano, or you can gain a tone similar to that of a plucked cello on the mid and bass strings. These tones contrast nicely with the guitar's tone played along the rest of the fretboard. The bass reminds me of a nylon string guitar, with mids and trebles that are warm , clean and loud, projecting the unique carbon fiber tone.

The 5S-CE [http://www.macnichol.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=MGAM&Product_Code=5S-CE&Category_Code=CA_Guitars] comes with a thin body, but you'd never know it when playing unplugged because of the power that carbon fiber produces. Features include includes x bracing, Gotoh 381 tuners, aluminum side dots, and Fishman Acoustic Matrix VT electronics. CA Guitars model 5S-CE also comes with a well-padded gig bag that includes several pockets and three non-slip plastic footers for placing down on the ground.
